I wasn’t able to post anything for the past two weeks because of my crazy work schedule. There were so many events to be styled and organized in time for the holiday season! Although I enjoy being in the events industry, I’m still glad most of them are over now. I can squeeze in a bit of “me-time” and finally do a quick post.
This was held at one of the restaurants inside Golden China Hotel. Dad wanted us to try eating there so that we can see if the hotel food was better or (at least) at par with the food we’ve had outside. The dishes tasted pretty normal, but definitely not worth their prices. 🙁 I’d recommend eating out since there were so many other great places in the city.
Anyway, here are the photos from that meal; I’ll post other (longer) entries soon!
The Kung Pao Chicken was the highlight of the entire meal. I enjoyed the spiciness and the nuts! I really liked that there were lots of nuts mixed in the dish.
Some fish fillet and vegetable dish
Stir fried broccoli with garlic
Their Mapo Tofu was more sweet than spicy, which made it really weird. It would have been nicer if it was spicy, just the way we’re used to having this dish.
The Roast Duck was, thankfully, also pretty good. This one made me such a happy camper!
