Pantene Pro-V 3 Minute Miracle Conditioner

Once in a while, I like to shake things up a bit and write about something other than food. Today, we’re checking out Pantene’s 3 Minute Miracle conditioner, which I got through mail from the BDJ Team. I’ve been using Pantene’s line of hair care products for years, so you can imagine how excited I was to try this new conditioner of theirs! The 3 Minute Miracle conditioner has been the talk of the town lately and was even named by Cosmopolitan magazine as its first (Philippine) Beauty Crush (#CosmoBeautyCrush).  I don’t tend to experiment too much on hair care products, but I was more than glad to give this one a shot. 🙂

When I first took the tube out of its bag, I was really impressed with the gold-colored packaging. It made the product look upscale and fancy.

Apart from the packaging, the other thing I loved immediately about this product is the smell of the conditioner! According to Pantene, the new fragrance is a mix of “fresh wild strawberry and raspberry accord enveloped in a floral creamy heart underscored with warm vanilla”. I’m glad it smelled more fruity than anything else!

So what does this conditioner claim to do? It supposedly helps repair 3 months worth of damage on your hair in just 3 minutes. I’ve heard that this product has done wonders for ladies with frizzy hair, so I was curious to see what it could possibly benefit someone who has naturally straight hair like me. To give you an idea, my hair has never been subjected to any hair dye/colors or treatments and is normally left to air-dry. If there’s anything I need help with, it’s just something that could add a bit of volume or bounce  so that my hair doesn’t look limp and lifeless at times.

I’ve been using the conditioner for a couple of days now and while it didn’t make any drastic changes to my hair compared to the effects for those with frizzy hair, I did feel that the Pantene 3 Minute Miracle conditioner helped make my hair become a lot smoother and less tangled. Combing through it is so much faster without having to fight through some tangled bits. I also noticed that my hair felt “lighter”. To top it all off, I haven’t experienced any negative side effects so far; no itching of the scalp, no dandruff caused by irritants. I think I’ll continue using this product and see what other improvements it can do to my hair. 🙂

*The Pantene 3 Minute Miracle conditioner is available in the market for Php159.00 (180mL) and Php259.00 (340mL).
